Bench-Top Peristaltic Pumps
ILS offers bench-top, peristaltic pumps designed specifically for
process development and pilot scale facilities. Pumps include
heads from either Watson-Marlow. The pumps are designed
specially for integration with external hardware or software.
Customers can choose from a variety of pump configurations.
An optional pump cabinet may include one or more pump
heads. Within a communication network, each cabinet can
have a direct external serial connection or be daisy-chained
together to form a network where a single serial interface can
control multiple pumps.

Benefits
- A serial (RS485/Modbus) interface allows for easy
integration with hardware based PLCs and HMIs and
software based SCADA. Hardware and software can
directly control speed and direction through direct serial
commands.
- External SCADA and HMI software can take advantage
of OPC servers to control pump speed and direction
- Variable speed pumps. Precise RPM control is achieved
through careful choice of motor and motor controller.
Pump speed and direction are controlled through the
serial interface or by an optional touchscreen interface.
- For simple priming of the pump a switch is provided to
turn on the pump at a moderate speed. Flow rate
range from less than 1 ml/min to 1000 ml/min depending
on the chosen pump head, tubing and motor
RPM.
